Day 16

When we woke up today we hit the road to Grand Canyon!!!! Once we were there we went for a walk into the Grand Canyon it was hard but fun.

Day 12 - Day 15

 

Day 12

Today we went to Venice beach it was a bit scary because it was filled with interesting people. But as mum says "do something that scares you every day. Me and mum went on roller blades around the beach. We did lots of other things on Venice beach but it was a chilled day.

Day 13

Universal studious!!!!!!!!!!! Today we went to universal studious! It was the best when we first got there we found someone from cams soccer team! We were very surprised. The first thing we did was go on the transformers ride and it was amazing we did a lot of stuff there so I will say my favorite and that was Jurassic park ride it was awesome I also liked the studio tour and we saw them filming little rascals:). It was an awesome day.

Day 14

Today was a wandering day. And we saw the holly wood sign which is pretty cool!:-)

Day 15

Today we are driving to needles and it is gonna be very hot there!

Day 6 - day 11

Day 6

Today we did lots of activities in Niagara falls!!! The journey to Niagara falls was a bit different because we thought the hotel was in USA but NO it was in canada! A completely different country! The first activity we did in Niagara falls Canada! was maid of the mist and that is were you go out in a boat to the falls and you get all wet! :-) the second thing was the what water walk and you walk next to the rapids from the falls! Then we did a walk behind the falls and that's were theres a cement wall and some parts have holes in them so you can look what it's like behind the falls! I also Learnt that every year 30cm goes away from the rock behind the falls from the water kind of scraping it off!! It used to be a meter!!! the next thing was the 4d movie which was heaps of fun it told you about were the falls came from and you got all wet because the ice was melting from the ice age. It was so cool!

Day 7

Today we woke up and saw the fallS for the last time :-( we are leaving. So that means another driving day. Once we got to holiday inn the place we are staying we were pretty exhausted. Because the trip was meant to be 4 hours but it was 8 hours!:-(

Day 4

Yesterday we got up and on on a train AGAIN to this place were you can go on a high line walk. The walk was awesome there were plants everywhere on a old railway in the sky! The thing I really enjoyed about that was that it wasn't busy and noisy! After the walk we went to Macy's which is a really big shop kind of like Myers but Bigger! After Macy's we got our tickets for the 9/11 memorial then we went to century 21 another shop that took a while but when we finished we went in the 9/11 memorial. It was a little sad but very interesting the 9/11 memorial is a memorial for all the people that died when the terrorist fly a plane into the twin towers. It must of been awful. Then we went back to century 21 for a while. After we went to century 21 we went to Times Square and went to m & m world it was so much fun. Then we had a hot dog and that was yummy. We took another train home and we had dinner and went to bed.

Day 3

On Monday we got up and ready for the big day! Once we were ready we took a train to Central Park and hired some bikes to go around Central Park in. Once we had the bikes we road to a castle were the smurfs were filmed we looked around in the castle it reminded us of England. Then we visited other parts of the park like cleopatras needle. After we had a good look we took a train to Times Square and cam got a hat and we had lunch. Then we got on another train to Christopher st and that were we met up with our food tour lady. On our food tour we had pizza, ice blocks, falafels, a Indian burrito, a cupcake, and a canolli it sure filled us up! Then we went to the baseball and that was fun so that was our day :) seeya next time.

Day 3

Yesterday we got on a train to Gand central station and then we walked to Rockefeller building. Once we found the building between all the other tall buildings (seriously I think there is not a house that is less then 3 stories high!) we got our tickets and got in a lift and went up up up :) once we had finished looking at the view which was quite spectacular it had the Empire State Building smack bang in the middle! We took another lift back down to the street.

Once we had finished there we walked down 5th avenue! (What I find really strange that all the streets are numbers) then we walked through a small part of Central Park ! I saw 5 squirrels they were so cute!!

Then we walked down broadway and bought some shoes I bought some purple vanz! Cameron bought some black black vanz.

Then once we finished that we were pretty tired, so we started walking home to get ready for Marry Poppins. Once we were ready we walked to the train station and took a train to the theater. Once we got our tickets we got dinner and went back and sat and waited for it to start. Once it started we were already exited. It was a beautiful play and I enjoyed it. When it's night in NY it does not feel like it because it is so bright. :) the food stand things are still out as well :) ! We went straight to bed after so I did not have time to Write in this :) but I have now so until next time :)

Day 1 (part 2)

Today we took a plane to LA, and then took another plane to NY. Right now I am in NY getting ready for bed. You are probably wondering why it's still day one, well we crossed the international date line and gained 1 whole day!!!!! When we got to NY, we caught a air train to federal circle. Then from there we caught a shuttle bus to our hotel. I am still getting used to all the funny accents :) so far so good! Only one problem so far and that's that I vomited after the plan trip :( any way it's been heaps of fun so far and I will talk tomorrow :)
